Angus Wood

I have had a passion for the mountains and snow from childhood. Having followed my interests I pursed alpine ski teaching as a career which allowed me to travel whilst teaching in the mountains of the southern Hemisphere and Europe. Currently I work as an Osteopath living on the Wirral, Cheshire with my young family. My other interests include endurance events running, triathlon and multisport where I have raised money for individual charities with a personal attachment. The Academy is a brilliant learning opportunity and I'm looking forward to learning! For me, the future is the Lake Baikal Race which would fit in with family as well as successfully competing in a race in such a demanding yet beautiful location. The local charity I would support with fundraising to support their essential work is Claire House, a hospice for terminally ill children and their families.
