Beth Healey

Aged 24, Final year medical student at Bristol University and aspiring expedition medic attending the Adventure Academy as a trainee medic and for cold weather training for future EWR races . Previous expedition experience includes assistant leader on BSES Svalbard Expedition, ski season (France), Tall ship voyage (Carribean), kayaking in the Norwegian, French and Italian Alps, conservation work in Peru and various expeditions with Bristol Univeristy Air Squadron. I could not be more excited about the forthcoming adventure academy which I hope will help to prepare me for going as part of the support team for the EWR Lake Baikal Race as well as for future work in North-East Greenland and Inuvik over the coming months.
