I'm pretty much a novice in this kind of thing. However, my business is to supply Scandinavian outdoor so I've got the theoretical knowledge. I do quite a lot of outdoor stuff and enjoy fell running and trekking. My main reason for doing this is that I would like to live a bit more like I teach. This is a step towards doing the South Pole either with Extreme World races or with some of my many adventurous friends.

I run Backcountry Survival, specialising in Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness living. In my spare time I take part in Mountain Marathons, Alpine and Scottish mixed climbing and I am a keen ski mountaineer. This is a prelude to more lengthy adventures. I am married and have a two year old son.
